Enrolling at Mt. Zion
At Mt. Zion Bible School, admission is open to students from kindergarten through 12th grade who seek a quality primary and secondary education in a Christian environment. Guided by a Christian Holiness perspective, the school's mission is to impart Godly principles and cultivate Christ-like character in all students. The aim is to equip students with a firm understanding of Biblical truth, empowering them to navigate an unbelieving world with conviction and courage. Mt. Zion Bible School provides a nurturing and supportive community where students can grow academically, spiritually, and morally. Prospective students and families who share the school's commitment to Christian values and seek a comprehensive education firmly grounded in faith are welcomed to join the Mt. Zion Bible School community.

How to enroll
- Contact the office. Call (417) 683-4600 or email us to request an application.
- Return the application with the $40.00 application fee and the items listed below. The forms are at the bottom of this page.
- Visit the school. Tour the campus and meet the teachers before your child begins.

- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of updated Health Record (we do accept exemption shot records)
- A recent photograph
- A signed school record release authorization for the previous school attended
- Two completed Character/Personality Rating Sheets (except for 1st graders), one of them completed by your pastor
Before the First Day
What your child will need
Students keep these supplies at their desks for the school year.
- King James Version Bible
- #2 lead pencils, and pens with blue ink only
- Crayons and/or colored pencils
- Lined paper and spiral notebooks
- Ruler
- Erasers (the white ones work best)
- A box of tissues, as needed
Good to know
- Each student has an assigned locker.
- Each student wears the school uniform with a coordinating polo shirt. The uniform list is under Applications below, and on the Student Life page.
- A morning snack is provided. Lunch is served Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; students bring their own lunch on Monday and Friday. A refrigerator and supervised microwaves are available.
- Bus transportation is available in designated rural areas for a per-trip fare.
